Join the live, facilitated spotlight discussion featuring two demonstration sites, Fairfield County, Ohio and Maricopa County, Arizona, who will share their experience implementing prenatal Plans of Safe Care. Both Family Treatment Courts began their journey with a court focus and successfully improved their programs by implementing family-centered policies and practices. To engage families earlier, they had to expand their focus to pregnant women, families not child welfare or court involved, and child welfare involved in-home cases. By expanding their focus to these multiple intervention points, they are safely keeping families together, and preventing child welfare or court involvement. They accomplished this by engaging new partners to develop comprehensive systems of care across multiple prevention and early intervention points.
