CFF staff provided evaluation and consulting services to the Kitsap County Veterans Treatment Court (Kitsap VTC). In 2012, Kitsap County (WA) received a three year grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to add a Veterans Track to the Adult Drug Court (in operation since 1999). The grant expanded services of the Adult Drug Court Program to provide and enhance services to Veterans. CFF was awarded a three year contract by the Court to provide comprehensive evaluation services for the Veterans Court. The evaluation assessed the impact of program participation on veterans’ engagement in substance abuse treatment and program services. CFF also supported the Kitsap VTC through development of marketing documents and presentations to stakeholders, and ongoing sustainability planning.
