We proudly present the Children and Families Program (CFP) which highlights sessions created to cut across all types of drug courts. This program outlines sessions that bring a family-focus to treatment and recovery throughout the largest annual training event for drug court professionals at the 2018 NADCP Annual Training Conference featuring Vet Court Con. This year we begin to explore opportunities to take on a “new approach” by taking what works in Family Treatment Courts (FTCs) into serving the larger child welfare population in a continuum of care. The vision is that FTCs be part of larger systems change in their states and communities so that all families can have access to the services and supports they need to successfully achieve recovery and family safety.
