This session will review the effects of prenatal substance exposure on infants and children and discuss recent practices developed to assist families in responding to these effects. The discussion will address these issues within the context of recent policy changes in the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act the impact of the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid coverage for prenatal screening.
