CFF authored a Technical Assistance Publication detailing the program implementation and operation of seven sites around the country with models of integrating substance abuse services and child welfare. These sites included Connecticut, New Jersey, Sacramento, Cuyahoga County, Jacksonville, San Diego and Miami.
CFF served as the CSAT, ACYF and Department of Justice-funded national cross-site evaluator of five Family Treatment Drug Court models from around the country. CFF designed, implemented, analyzed and reported on the evaluation findings. These findings were presented for each of the five courts and in total across sites. The study examined the program design and implementation, operations, and outcomes of five models that vary in structure, size and organization. Outcomes were measured in each of the three major systems involved in the projects: substance abuse services, child safety and permanency, and court system outcomes.
CFF managed the day-to-day implementation of the ON TIME project, including direct practice supervision of the Recovery Mentors.
