Dr. Paulette Running Wolf, an enrolled Blackfeet tribal member, currently serves as a Performance Management Liaison for Children and Family Futures (CFF). Dr. Running Wolf works primarily with the tribal Regional Partnership Grants, a Children’s Bureau funded program focused on improving permanency outcomes for children affected by methamphetamine or other substance abuse. Dr. Running Wolf is a counseling psychologist and graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, who has successfully implemented national quantitative and qualitative outcome based evaluations in numerous tribal communities both urban and reservation. She has over 25 years experience in American Indian education/training, program development, research and evaluation, and community mobilization. As an educator, she has taught in a variety of settings including elementary – secondary education, two tribal colleges and as an Assistant Professor at Washington State University.
She is currently a board member and past founding Executive Director of the First Nations Behavioral Health Association (FNBHA). Dr. Running Wolf serves as a private consultant to tribal communities across the country, federal (SAMSHA, IHS, BIA), state and other entities and foundations in the areas of social service training, program evaluation/research and assisting states in planning and implementing culturally competent systems of care.
