Holly Child

Holly Child currently serves as a Program Associate for Children and Family Futures (CFF). Prior to her position at CFF, she was Department Chair/Assistant Professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Saginaw Valley State University. In addition, Ms. Child previously worked as Director of the Crime and Justice Unit at the Center for Urban Studies at Wayne State University in Detroit and as a Research Associate with the Center for Criminal Justice Research at the University of Cincinnati.

Ms. Child has worked with numerous non-profit and government agencies on program improvement through evaluation, training, and consultation. Her previous research and publication has focused on correctional programming such as community courts (i.e., DWI, Drug, Family, Re-entry, etc.), day treatment programs (both adult and youth), mentoring programs, and other preventive or diversion-type programs.

Ms. Child undertook her doctoral work at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and earned a B.S. and M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida with honors.
